REACH aims at the
holistic development of women students with social and economic
disadvantage. The founding principles of REACH have been to promote equity,
provide opportunities of excellence, and build the capacities of students.
This Project is supported by the
Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access (FAEA),
New Delhi.
While
the
main emphasis has always been on the students with social and economic
disadvantage, every attempt is made to provide a more inclusive
platform for all the students in the college. Workshops on self-discovery
are

Initiated in Aug. 2002 REACH, a project of LSR under the "Pathways
Programme" of FAEA is committed to nurture the quest for excellence by
providing equitable and accessible opportunities to disadvantaged
students
|
|
organized with an aim to help students understand their potential and to enhance their
confidence. Several other enabling Activities are organised throughout the
year to enhance students' knowledge and creativity.
The
journey so far with
REACH
has been a profound learning experience for students and faculty members.
The activities of
REACH
have taken a step towards helping its members to prepare for the world of
work. It provided a common platform for all the students of the college in
appreciating diversity and unity among all its members.
